Just a word of caution if ur using a multimeter that’s fused. Make sure u have plenty of spare fuses close at hand. I made several bone head mistakes while having the meter in series, like putting the key in the ignition and rolling down windows —> Car pulls over 10A = fuse blown and no way to measure current
