OEM ZCP CSL Wheels on E46 Sedan

What's your opinion? I have a friend selling the ZCP wheels and got the chance to try them on to see how they look..... Here are the Results....
Tell what your opinions.... the car is completely stock!

I forgot one thing to mention I Only tried on one side. So the opposite side is still on OEM 17 inch Style 68.

It doesn't fit. I don't think that would clear the fender.

I'd assum putting a small spacer in the front will make the wheels look clean

A bit of advice from an actual ZCP owner...Careful what you wish for. You're going from 16", maybe 17" rims to 19" rims that are staggered.

I just dropped over $550 on my rear tires. Yes, they're Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+, but you get what you pay for.

If you get these you won't be able to rotate your tires whatsoever. They do look cool tho.

Thank you man! I appreciate the advice. I am a bit aware of the staggered sets cause my car came with the OEM 17 inch Staggered Style 68 and i know how the tire prices run.

Style 68 are sweet. My son has a 2002 Dinan S2 325i with style 96 rims. I have to admit I've never seen a 4 door E46 with ZCP rims, only with style 67. ZCP definitely looks better.

Yea the 68 are okay, maybe it's cause I've seen them on alot or they look to common and basic that CSL on E46 look timeless.

I am still debating between buying the ZCP and making my car look one of a kind or getting 18" VMR V703 (CSL Reps). I've seen other Reps but there is something about the VMR that just stands out.

Like the styling but the polished look does nothing for me.

Was referring to the back being slightly wider than the car. It's just not my thing

+1, I think the M3 barely pulls it off.

And I don't like the tire sidewall size on 19's. But that's all just my opinion and my tastes.

Any part of a tire or wheel extending beyond the wheel fender isn't my thing.

I think it looks awesome, but they are a little too wide. If you really like that style you can get a set of replicas that will fit perfectly. Try VMR Wheels or Modbargains.

the offset is wrong. it's even wrong for a Coupe but worse for a Sedan. sure yu can stretchthe tires, but that won't be correct . also of note is that the standard size tire on the rear of the M3 is slightly different from the non-Ms over all diameter. you'd be better off running a square set of fronts.

you sure those are OE ZCP wheels? something looks off on them, if they're polished then that's not stock.

personally if i were you (unless you're getting these for super cheap) i would buy a correct set of 18" (or 19") from VMR. i had 18" staggered CSL wheels from VMR and the car looked great and offset was for the non-M and tucked great.

I love OEM ZCP wheels and I wish they could work on a sedan properly but they don't. They look cool but you will have problems in the rear. I also wish they were regular silver finish. Chrome mesh is just so cheesy. Quick fix of course. You need 4 front wheels all around, doesn't look as good but as long as they are OEM they will look sharp.

VMR/ModBargains are out of stock for Silver Staggered.... They have no idea when they will have them back in stock. I am trying to get my car ready for Bimmerfest.

Yes the wheels are OE ZCP.
Here's a closer look at the engravings.
Screenshot_20170318-163223

I've been thinking of getting 18's but VMR V703 Staggered are out of stock and they have NO ETA on when they will have more.

My second option is going with Sportline 7s or 8s but I really would love to keep it looking like OEM with the M Sticker placement.
