AA exhaust Problem

I notice the exhaust cracking on 21st feb

I email AA tuning about the problem and explaining to them that since you supply me the wrong bracket twice!! (i ask for the right side but they sent me left brackets. That if your facing the car from behind)

They told me they dont have anymore right side bracket left. They told me to send me the exhaust back and pay for the shipping both ways. But i find out it very expensive. thats about 370 USD!!

Surely this cover by there warrenty and the cracking cause by them since they send me the wrong brackets twice. Or Iam looking at this wrong?

I spoken to stainless steel welder here in UK he said he would do it., but wont guarantee it because it doesnt have the right bracket and he said it probaly crack again.

What are my options?

1st pic shows the cracking on 21 Feb

2nd pics is taken 23rd June

a custom ghetto job shouldn't cost that much. being that it's under that car, it doesn't have to look pretty.

Why do you have to pay for the shipping when it is there screw up in the first place? If they haven't sent out the wrong brackets, this situation would of not of happened. A alternative would be go with a different exhaust like Supersprint or something

I'm really sorry to hear that. AA usually stands behind their products, this should be no different. If it doesn't work out contact us and we'll get you a real exhaust system

A real exhaust system? What's that supposed to mean?

I'm sure AA would stand behind their product, they're a good group of people. Have you tried calling a sales rep. directly? Omar Murray is a good guy, I'm sure if you spoke to him directly, a solution can be reached.

Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn't even deal with it. Go to a good muffler shop and ask for them to remount it for you, they should have brackets at the shop. They can repair the tear in the exhaust also.

from a professional standpoint, that comment was totally uncalled for, if you dont mind me asking (on behalf of everyone who knows AA representatives personally or have dealt with AA tuning), what are you trying to say with that comment?

if you repair it yourself, the resale will be affected and the warranty probably void.

That's true, the resale would be something I'm worried about. But the warranty isn't really an issue considering not much really goes wrong with exhausts other than something like this (which is VERY rare).
