Xenon auto-leveler only works at key position 1, not with normal starting (Solved)

My xenon auto-leveler is only giving the up/down positioning movement if I move the key to position 1 (accessories powered only). When I turn the key quick to position 2 (normal start), there is no up/down movement.
I have the LCM switch pointed at auto headlights.
I'm thinking this may be related to a possible fault code when I had my windshield changed since my rain sensor stopped working after the install.
Has anyone run into this problem with the xenon auto-leveler? Because it will auto-level in position 1 this doesn't seem to be a problem with the arm connected to the suspension.

Solved.
My Rain/Light Sensor (RSL) could not be coded at all. I bought an RSL on eBay and connected the back part to the preglued lens on my the Mexican-made Pilkington windshield.

The normal up/down movement came back.

Still need to initialize the RSL - apparently it's better if the glass installer slides the back part off the old lens and keeps the harness plugged in.

This is great info. Thanks for sharing.

Anyone who had their windshield replaced with a non-OEM one - and let's face it most will be non-OEM - might run into this issue.

Bookmarked for a future need.
