ok lets make this a little more interesting....you find 150k cash

you find 150k cash in a dumpster. You decide not to return it.

What do you do?

Depositing it in a bank is out of the question, unless you do it in 9,900 increments and pray you never get audited. You can not just walk in a car dealership with cash, maybe a used car lot. You can not put a down payment on a house, due to the whole bank thing...

So yeah, great problem to have.

Where are you keeping it? Do you tell anyone? How much do you spend...and on what?

calling the police is out of the question, you have already decided you want to keep it.

yeah that's about right..

Use the money to buy all normal items with cash.. such as groceries and gas and entertainment (Dvds, games, movie tixx, etc...)

then utilize that saved money from my paycheck to help pay off debt quicker and thus not having to deal with any kind of paper trail.

I'd do exactly what you said but instead of safe I'd use a banks safe deposit box.

Slowly make $9,900 deposits. Isn't $10k the limit for anonymous cash deposits?

depends on how bloody the bills are. are they covered in blood, or is there only a distinct splatter pattern?

Pay off student loan/car, buy new couch, take random pictures of guns/watches/cash in different combinations, post said pictures to internet forums, keep the rest of the money for items such as groceries, walking around money, etc, bank my paycheck.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

I'm with Dave!

I'd pay off my M3 and the 128i, pay off any debt that the g/f and I have (..which isn't much), and use the remainder of the money to vacation and invest.
