Question Rear Suspension Questions. Need help

I have a 2000 328ci and I believe my rear spring is broken because the right side of the car sits 2-3 inches lower than left one. Left one looks like a its a little bit low as well.

Car has 136000 miles on right now and I want to go ahead and replace the shocks as well. My question is.. Is there any aftermarket springs that are the same size of the OEM ones? Or should I go with OEM?
I think I'm going with aftermarket on the shocks and I need an advice on which one I should get. OEM shock is about 150-180 bucks I need to find something lower than that price range but something reliable. What do you guys recommend? It doesn't have to be too stiff or too smooth. Preferably the same setting as an OEM shock.

I want to put 18s on in the spring time and it looks like they are going to rub even with 17s on if I don't fix the springs.

Sponsors please feel free to make recommendations also.. Thanks in advance.

From the sound of it, there is a good possibility that your spring has changed rates over time, or is worn. I wouldn't say it is "broken" per say because if the spring snapped in half you'd be in a lot of trouble while driving, but it's still not good to be driving on springs that are all different rates. With that kind of mileage I would definitely say that it's time to replace them. If you're looking to replace your shocks with aftermarket shocks, I would say go for Koni or Bilstein shocks. I know that Koni Yellows have a lifetime warranty, and if you're looking at springs maybe you should contact a company like Hypercoil or Eibach. They also have lifetime warranties on their springs. I'm sure some of the vendors here can sell both the shocks and the springs, and I'm sure that companies like Koni, Bilstein, Hypercoil, and Eibach all have OEM replacements or close to OEM options.

I went to advance auto and they have bilstein shocks for 126.00 each, eibach kit for 630.00 all four and
auto parts international have the same bilsteins for 90.00 each
they also have the KYB brand shocks for 52 bucks each. Which i never heard of but I was wondering if anyone have any opinion on the KYB brand?

I think Im going to go with OEM springs even though they break every 2 years lol

Your prices are mixing apples and oranges! Bilstein HD or Sport are the more expensive versions while Tourings are cheaper and more like OEM. Visit or call a site like BavAuto to see various options and gain some understanding of the differences. Sponsors here would also be good for suggestions based on what you want your car to be. Call them.
