Best online source for reliable parts?

Focus is on price and quality. Fast shipping to NY would be a plus. I'm comfortable using aftermarket parts as long as they are made well. This is my first Bimmer.

They are more expensive than ebay or Amazon, but carry quality parts and have a lifetime warranty on everything.

FCP Euro. Dont buy aftermarket junk. Only Genuine BMW or the OEM for that part.

Fcpeuro. They're in Connecticut which should be close to you. No need for genuine BMW parts when you can go with an OE supplier

Actually, for the kit that I need, FCP appears to include a main aftermarket component despite the fact that the kit is marked as OEM:

Went with FCP Euro. I added the individual components of the kit to my cart and swapped some of them out. Actually ended up being cheaper.

FWIW My mechanic recommends https://www.pelicanparts.com/ one of the cool things is that there are many links to video/tutorials for just about all of the big parts they sell. OEM and aftermarket stuff appears to be cheaper than amazon.

If you know what part (number and manufacturer) always check rockauto. I get 75% of my stuff there (for all cars too).

FCPeuro is terrific for stock parts, and Bimmerworld is great for performance parts as well as stock. I think Bimmerworld also has the best phone tech support of anybody that is left, now that ECSTuning bought up Bavauto, Turner, and Pelican Parts.

getbmwparts.com (tischer/silver spring) has lowest OE prices, fast special orders, ships UPS/USPS (i hate fedex).

the tool doesn't work well, but occasionally i use pnpc (http://www.bmwpnpc.com/) to find lower prices from other vendors like bmw-oem-parts.com (morristown, now closed/purchased?) and then getbmwparts will price match.

I'm really impressed with FCPEuro. I love their website and the fact that they identify which parts are Genuine, OE, OEM and aftermarket, which saves me a lot of research. Yes their prices are tad bit higher on some things, especially Genuine BMW parts, but their shipping rates are fair and they are very fast at shipping. I ordered a part yesterday morning overnight for $20 and it was delivered this morning half way across the country. It's hard to beat that type of service. I have not used their lifetime warranty yet, but I'll be surprised if I encounter problems when I eventually do.

If I'm in the need of Genuine BMW parts, then I usually get those from getBMWparts.com. Hard to beat their prices and service. I recently returned a special order part that I ordered by mistake. I told them as much and their response was no problem, send it on back and I had the refund with a couple days of them receiving it. I do think their shipping and handling fees could be better, so I always consider that when placing and order.
