E46 GROM bluetooth mic install

I want to install a bluetooth microphone that connects to the GROM in my trunk. What is the best mic placement that requires the no modification (i.e., no drilling)? Seems like it's by the sunroof panel / OEM mic. If so, I'm not quite sure how to get there.

What DIY guide / pics can I use to route the mic wire from trunk to sunroof panel? From searching, I can see how to connect from trunk to center console (post), but am not sure how to get the wire up the A-pillar and to the sunroof panel.
