Type 79 on Sedan?

Can anyone verify that the 17" BMW Type 79's (36 11 6 751 415) will fit properly in a 323i Sedan?

I'm sure they will but I just wanted verification due to the notorious weight of the 79s.

Ah, nevermind. I got in contact with my parts department right before they closed and they told me they won't fit.

My local dealership told me that they wouldn't fit on my 323i sedan.

So they DO fit without any problems? No problems dealing with weight issues or anything?

Did you manage to get them on without any problems (I'd assume you wouldn't have any because they are OEM...

Any more info would be appreciated...

They fit without any problems. . . I bought them from a guy who had a 330Cic and wanted to change his wheels. They came with the factory Contitouring 205/50/17 tires

They wieghed in pretty lightly at 44lbs for both the wheel & tire

I sold them to someone who had a 330xi. These are the stock wheels that come with the:
330Ci & 330 Cic (no sport package)
330Xi with sport package

There is no reason why they wouldn't fit a stock 323i
