the swap is pretty straight foward.. the only parts the change are basically electrical wiring, computer etc

some info for the drive by wire conversion

I bought this plug: 61138383300
12 wires (bushing contact): 61130005197
gas pedal adapter plate: 35406756720
gas pedal module: 35426772706 (manual tranny)
bolt: 07119902140

using the wiring diagram:

I wired up the cables from plug into the corresponding pinouts of the DME plug

When I tested the pedal.. the dme registered voltage and throttle angles from the pedal..

You should have gone forged while you were in here. Few extra grand, and you would be in business for supercharging.

sorry I don't have pics of the pistons installed on the block... but they sit a little lower than stock ones. The engine is almost complete. it only needs some covers and the new pulleys.

some pics:

The engine is on the car with the manifold installed. Aso the manifold is smaller than the old one I guess it helps improve the air flow, everything was bolt on.. and now i'm working on the electrical stuff

pics:

new manifold installed:

new dme and relay harness

and finally managed to wire up the connection for the obd plug inside the cabin...

wow, sorry for not updating my thread

after the engine was installed on the car, in order to start it, I needed a ews+keys and dme, from a same donor car. this is because the dme has a special code that is written on the ews module.. (not dme-ews sync) this is different.

the car has a misfire problem, that i'm currently looking for a solution

here are some pics when the engine was finished & and a start-up video
-->

the car pulls soo hard now! the engine/exhaust sound is more louder, everytime I hit the gas the afe intake sounds sick! the car has more low end torque than before I even feel that it has more torque than my father's m3 hehehe
