I would choose the S2k. Honestly, I think that the S2k is a really good buy right now for under $20k. Having owned 3 E9X M3's, I'd probably go for the M5 because it would be something different. The F8X has ruined the E9X for me. I'd never go back. The M5 would be doable because I have another car to piddle around in, so the MPG's wouldn't really bother me as much.
