Creative Angel Eyes Installations?

I will soon be ready to install another set of Orion V4 Angel Eyes. I love how they look in my 330xi and I'm going to put them into my M3 as well. The only thing I don't really care for is how the suggested wiring works. It doesn't seem to be consistent on how long the angel eyes stay lit and it makes me sometimes worry they will never turn off.

My car has bi-xenons installed, so I really don't have any use for the low beam halogens. What I would love to do is have the low bean halogen's power the angel eyes but still have the flash to pass work. Has anyone ever done this before? Is it even possible? If so, is it also possible to still use the night mode trigger wire?

What other ways have people wired up angel eyes?

I guess this isn't a thing. Ok, how about another angle.. Can anyone give me the part numbers for the make and female connectors used for the halogen lights? I'll try making a plug and play adapter so I don't have to modify my wiring.

Thanks. I did see the splitter cables but never found any direct reference that the 9006 & 9005 connectors were the ones used on the E46.

Regardless it may not help anyways. Since the connectors only have two pins, what I was considering won't work. I thought the car triggered the high beam differently with the halogen bulb. I'll probably just wire the angel eyes the recommended way. I was trying to be too clever.
