Just purchased and drove a BMW for the first time ever and its a marvelous experience! I only ever want to buy BMW in life and pass them down to my Children! I have a 2002 330xi 164k I call her Scarlett the Beamer. I got to work early this morning! Lmao

Dude, I feel ya... I think that any other ride would be a complete let down, the exceptional performance, realiability and the sheer joy everytime I get behind the wheel. E46 for life...

you'd be surprised how many people love their old e36/e46 and don't want a newer car. especially a newer BMW. and of course they are overly represented here.

2002 325xiT, 5 speed with about 206k. Daily driven. I'm like the 15th owner so I don't know the full maintenance history. But will she purrs and will be getting some love soon.

This is my third e46 to eclipse the 200k mark. To me it feels like 100k miles and even less now after reading some here are over 300k and 600k which is magical.

It's not the new/er car I'm in about it's that some think a old bm is the best thing since slice bread that's what I meant is utter bollox. There's plenty out there drive as good or better than them and more reliable.

kburger here. cant believe this thread still going. I'm somewhere around 660,000 miles. odometer broke at 621,372 showing. Umm, at 600,000 miles you kinda get sick and tired of fixing the car. If any of you ever get to 600,000 miles you will understand. Thanks fanatics for helpin me get there. I highly recommend m56 valve cover upgrade. You will run into oil leaks you cannot fix.
