My Ride: 2002 330ci
Year: 2002
Model: 330 ci
Transmission: Automatic
SOLD: 2002 Orientblau Metallic 330ci, ~86,800 original miles; Please remove listing

All,

Update on 4/15/2019: Vehicle was officially sold today! Moderator can remove the listing as desired. Thanks all. JS

Sadly, it has come time for me to sell my beloved 330ci. I'll give the basic, required details and then further description and pictures below. This is my first post on this site so please be forgiving if I violate protocol in any way...

- Car year, make and model: 2002 BMW 330ci, Orientblau Metallic exterior, Full Saddle leather interior, automatic
- Full VIN: WBABN53432JU39984
- Mileage: 86,807 (original miles) as of 4/15/2019
- List of options/packages: Full Saddle Leather interior, Harmon Kardon sound system upgraded with BAVSOUND speaker system in December 2016, I believe it came with the Cold Weather, Premium and Sport packages, but I do not have the original window sticker, heated front seats, airbag recall completed and front and rear pillars replaced
- Length of ownership: 3 years, 4 months
- Records available: All since I have owned it, most available from the original dealer, Otto's BMW in West Chester, PA
- Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA region
- Willing to ship? No
- Asking price: $8000; negotiable

The Good: I have had this car for a little over 3 years and have loved every minute of it. I had it coated with Ceramic Pro ceramic coating in November of 2017 at the same time it had new tires and rear brakes installed. Passed PA state inspection and emissions in November 2018. Runs like new and looks amazing (people cannot believe it is a 2002). I have the clean title in hand.

The bad: I do not have a Carfax but was informed that it was in a reported accident in the 2003 timeframe but no visible or detectable effects. It has one small scratch on the right rear bumper/trunk area that was touched up when the Ceramic Pro was applied. Not very noticable but I am trying to disclose completely here. Power driver's seat adjust works in all directions except forward/back; that knob seems to have an intermittent connection and sometimes will not adjust. Seat is currently in a reasonable position for most drivers.

Why am I selling it? Honestly I would rather not. I have not seen many 2002's with this quality of paint and upkeep with this few miles (~5000 miles/year on average) but with all three of my sons gone (all military officers), my wife and I do not need 3 cars. Also being a 2-door coupe, we cannot use it when carting the grandson around in his car seat. So... yeah, the time has come.

Happy to discuss/answer/disclose anything with fellow Fanatics who are serious, interested potential buyers.

Thanks Raptor; love yours as well! I wanted to get this posted ASAP before I left on travel so I was limited in the shots I could take quickly. I am on travel until the 2nd week of April but will post more outside shots when I return.

Yoits, I have shipped some of my own personal cars but haven't ever shipped one for sale. If that makes a difference, we can consider it and figure it out.

Thanks

My Ride: slower than yours
weird that the car has white directions as factory install but has from the one picture amber fender lights... do you think that could be where your damage was?

can you post pics of where the supposed accident area you think it was?

very cool combo, am interested.

All,46

Updating this post as the vehicle is now sold! Being picked up for transport to a new enthusiast home in the morning. Sadly, that was my last E46 and I will miss it (and so will it's bigger but younger brother, my B6 Alpina).

Thank you all for your comments and interest.

JS
