Factory hardtop for E46 cabrio

Original factory option BMW hardtop for E46 3-series convertibles model years 1997-2006. Mint condition, with BMW upright storing rack on wheels and full cover. This hardtop was a C$5,000 factory option. . It is beautifully engineered with full headliner, grab handles, left/right rear reading lights, heated glass rear window, and tool-less on and off. It has NEVER seen a speck of snow or salt, always having been stored on the car before winter until after winter. Buy now for half-price or less and transform your cabrio into a 4-season year-round car. The rack folds up neatly into a carry case that fits in the well of the trunk. You can drive anywhere with the hardtop on, and when you arrive remove and rack it to enjoy open-air motoring. Brilliantly engineered to go on and off in seconds with no tools. Perfect fit. If you want it shipped you will need to arrange and pay for it. Iím expecting that you will verify your Cabrio is hardtop-ready and we will agree on price. Then I am prepared to drive east, west, north or south from Toronto, including cross-border, with the hardtop on, to meet you. You can inspect it on my car, and with payment we can remove and install it on your car. $1000 or best offer. If your cabrio doesn't have the mounting hardware pre-installed I can refer you to a supplier.

Contrary to popular belief, only an E46 delivered with a Hardtop is prepped to have one installed. If you aren't including the Hardtop Mounting Hardware from the donor car, your buyer will need these part numbers; the Hardtop Kit is no longer available.

54217143355 - LT Support
54217143360 - RT Support
54217143358 - RT Harness
07119902175 x 4 - Bolts

Turner Motorsport & ECS Tuning have them in stock. Total cost is just under $200. Rumor has it that about 800 Cabriolet's were delivered to the Canadian market with Option Code 380 - 'Hardtop Preparation' - but without an actual Hardtop.

I've had 4 E46 cabriolets, one with a hardtop that I purchased separately and had repainted. I barely used it and never missed having one on my other cars. Just my 2 cents.

I would love to a hardtop for my car and would willingly pay $1000 for one that matched my car but not a dollar more than $500 for one that does not.
