Hey Guys!

I know this is an old thread but would firstly like to thank the OP and all other contributors! You've all given me the confidence to attempt this

Before i start i just want to make sure i've understood everything! I've drawn up my own style of wiring diagram can i assume this is the correct way to wire up the seats and these are the correct terminals for the connectors (seat plug, fuse bok, etc...)???

Old thread I know, But can anyone answer a question for me?
I have no spare tab in my K-bus. I have 9 wires going into my K-bus and no tab to connect another. Can I splice into an excising wire in the K-bus?

My Ride: 66 Charger
Hi

Great thread
Im planning to install a set of these seats into a 66 Dodge Charger. You mention the #15 wire is for memory. I have the male harness end of the connector. What do i do with the # 15 memory lead .
Im installing the convertible seats with the integrated seat belts. Do i need to connect anything else for the seat belt function.
I dont need any of the other ammenities as this is a summer only car.

I know this is an old thread, but this is as great collection of info. Reading through this, the major problem seems to be acquiring the seat you want, and wiring it up. I have a totaled '01 325xiT with leather heated sports seats, which I am replacing with an '02 325iT with manual seats.

After reading through this thread it looks like I can take the seats and wiring harness out of the old car, and using the old connections as a guide, install everything into my replacement car, requiring just connections to the fuse box and the K-bus. Is this correct, or am I delusional (not mutually exclusive)?

I did like this on my 320 from 05.

But I took cable and stuff out of another facelift model from 03. I don't know if there is any differences between early and facelifted models.

For your information its a real pain to remove and use again the fuse holder

anyone knows if in adapting RHD vert seats to LHD car involves only the underseat wiring looms or if motors too need to be switched (probably the forward/backward one is different from driver/passenger as memory are involved)
