Slightly different take (caveat: I might be talking out of my a-- a little bit. Maybe.): do you live in a red state and/or have right-leaning politics? If so, then the Dodge might be a better cultural fit for you. It's the kind of car, if I were to see a Punisher sticker, Thin Blue Line sticker, Trump sticker -- etc., I'd think 'yep, seems about right'.

The 6.4l is essentially the same engine, stroked out with forged guts. Great for power. I get to rent the "scat pack" chargers and challengers with this beastly powerplant monthly and i love them. When the 5.7 in my Grand cherokee dies, I'm replacing it and then looking to build the old engine into. 6.4 and figure out how to get it into my E46. If an LS1 will fit, so will the Hemi.

I like the Magnums, but not in white (actually I don't like white on almost anything). I've never driven one and never owned a Mopar new enough to have a gen III hemi, but given a chance I'd test one out. My Durango is at about 166,000 miles and has had some issues, but overall it's been a great vehicle. I got it with a bad engine computer 8 years ago with 113,000 miles.
