I had a look at your file and checksum4 was incorrect so that is probably what's causing the error.

I have disabled checksum4 in your file and applied the wiki changes to ip_tqi_maf__n__maf.

As the values in the wiki are made for a M54B30 you may need to modify ip_pvs_isa_isapwm__isapwm to get a stable idle.
This table dictates how much pvs input should be added for a given isa duty cycle. So if your idle is low try increasing this table.

Yes the ISA can be completely removed from the engine.

Hey Guys!! THANK YOU!
I thought "correcting the Checksum" means using the Checksum Corrector...
Now is read all the former posts and understand what you meant by Checksum4...
I will test this evening. Hopefully it works.

By the way... yes i have completely removed the ICV and plugged the hole.

Thank you... i will report if everything is working well.

Best regards,
Michael

Guys!

Incredible!!

Everything is working!! AND... i have automatic transmission... no Problem at all!

I tested everything yesterday evening, made some logging cruises. Just found out that i needed a little bit more injection over 850 Load and a little bit less ignition due to Knock 1 over 6000 U/min...

Now the Car is working good!!!

Thank you very much!!

I corrected to the tune which has the ISA valve. Said 2 checksum errors were found, didn't mention chk5 or chk4
Checksum 4 is an addition checksum that the dme uses to verify that the _mon_ values in the calibration file are not corrupt.
The variables that the dme uses to calculate this checksum is located in the program section so tools like Ultimo Checksum Corrector can only correct this checksum in a 512KB file.

If you are using 430056 you can disable this checksum by setting lc_swi_cal_mon_cks to 165(0xA5).
Do you have to set this in the full 512kb file and flash in boot mode for it to work?

Edit: solved it. You have to set this in the 512kb file or it will not save the value and default back to 1

Hmm this does not sound right to me, you only need the 64kB file to disable chk4 with lc_swi_cal_mon_cks. The 512kB file is only needed if you want to actually correct the checksum.

To me it sounds like your Tunerpro installation had some problem when saving the 64kB and that's why it reverted back to 1.

Did anyone manage to get their B22 running right without ISA? What are your ip_tqi_maf__n__maf and ip_pvs_isa_isapwm__isapwm settings?
Me and my friend spent 2 days trying to get it to idle properly, and it still either hunts, or cuts out. If we try and raise the ip_pvs_isa_isapwm__isapwm setting, when the revs drop, they get stuck at about 1200rpm for a couple of seconds before dropping to a normal idle.

That is a factory thing with the drop. My B25 did that all the time, even after the ISA delete.

ISAless Help

Does anybody have some proper settings for the m54b25 Engine for ip_pvs_isa_isapwm_isapwm ?

Raised the tables and run‘s acceptable but i have some high idling when going reverse.

Edit: also have Idle bouncing when starting in cold state. Should probably lower the settings

Okay I'm running on ISAless for quite some time now.

Yesterday I wanted to apply my burble setting, but the car just doesn't go into overrun without cutoff. Not even with PUC completly disabled in IP_N_MIN_PUC

Does someone have an idea why?

I deleted my ICV for the first time on my M54B25. It is running an M50 intake manifold and an M54B30 throttle body.

I used the values for the M54B30 from the Wiki and had to rescale the axes in some tables and the engine is idling perfectly. I didn't need to make any changes to ip_pvs_isa_isapwm__isapwm

Not sure if the stable idle is because of M54B30 throttle body or because I rescaled the table axes. Might help someone though!
