Wanted to do these too, but I don't think the Ccfl's will be bright enough during the day. I think they only run on 2 led bulbs compared to other ones with full led strips.

I fitted them to My Car.
Bought this exact same one actually

Looks good in the evening.
barely seen during Say time Driving..

have it in my car for about 4 Months now, 1 ballast is Dead already

So Only have rings in 1 Headlight at the moment

Too bad Khoalty is gone.

I've had CCFL rings on my e36 for years and have been fine. You can get ballasts on ebay for cheap. I've only had to replace one so far.

I bought some RGB ones off of eBay this month and am pleasantly surprised! I had those CCFL on my car for about 1.5 years through cold and hot and they were fine. That said, the CCFL don't look very good IMO.

I paid $40 from iJDMTOY from Amazon and they look great in the day and night. They are super bright that my camera can't even pick them up properly.
