i think i love it more when it had the m68s on it.. so innocent looking.

got halfway through thread and realized the moldings are paint matched... no wonder it looks so different.

Everything has a price but it will be tough to let this one go as I have yet to see another ZSP or ZHP in the color combo come up for sale. The M68's have a special place in my heart but the ARC 8's are better

Thanks again. I looked back at my car while walking away and now I feel the need to walk backwards so I continuously look at it.

Today I'm dropping her off at BMW for an alignment and I may have them do some other maintenance work....not sure.

Hey MBCO!

I noticed you said that BMW of Charlotte did your airbag. I remember the recall being from a few years ago. Are they still honoring it and if so, how do I approach them about honoring it now?

I bought an 2003 325i used a few weeks ago and was wondering if it was possible to get this done on my car as well despite not being the original owner or getting a letter in the mail about the recall.

Yes, Hendrick BMW of Northlake. They told me about it as they ran the VIN. They had the parts and it took 3-4 hours to complete.

-2 degrees camber up front. With the H&R Cup Kit, Poly FCABS, sticky rubber and camber the turn in and front end grip is amazing.

Looking good! Interesting combo of the shadowline window trim and chrome-on-chrome grille elements. Don't see that very often.

Wheels look the business.

If you want to keep the body-colored molding, maybe consider a respray on them to better match the white of the bodywork proper? It might be just me but it looks off a shade or two, especially on the front bumper.

I agree, it's so common for owners to swap out to black grills. I don't mind the OE ones. Something different.

In person it matches but in certain light it looks off. They are due for a respray as chips and door dings from the previous owner are present. Once all maintenance and further plans are done I plan on getting new trim or getting the current ones resprayed along with PDR on 2 dents.

The ultimate test this week. 3 employees in the car....2 in the back roughly 450+ pounds combined. It rubbed obviously.

Time to make some more room.

Yikes! I try never to have more than one person in the back of mine!

Almost ready for an oil change and I'll likely do some power steering maintenance.

Also appears that my left front side marker is containing moisture and it's driving me nuts. Debating on clears or OE Amber replacement. Hmm...

Thoughts?

Personally I'd keep it OE. I like the contrast on white.

Amber with side amber. White with side and back clear.

I've always been a fan of clear lenses

Definitely clears but with those chrome coated amber globes so you not left with an egg yolk in your indicators.

I'll go OE Amber for now. I may change up the tail lights down the road to RCR and genuine BMW euro spec clear but for now I'd rather spend the money on maintenance.

I always seem to take a picture at this grocery store, lol.
