Silver all the way! It'd be a shame to hide those 135s.

Never a fan of the black wheels. Wheels are the jewelry on a car. It is a rare occasion when the black wheel is the best choice IMO.

This is the only acceptable black wheel application:

Ditto what everyone else said, silver no question. Black wheels are for teenage yorbos in Subaru's & Dodge's.

Try Anthracite. I'm not a huge fan of how hypersilver the stock 135s are on light colored cars.

Something along these lines:

^If you have genuine wire wheels on your Austin-Healey, why would you hide them by painting them black (and depriving yourself of the "joy" of cleaning them)?

black wheels on a white car are actually a beautiful combination , but definitely not style 135 , they have too many spokes ,and also definitely not on a black soft top
silver all the way

Thanks everyone for the responses! I have been debating between the two for a while now. I agree that silver does look good, but I was thinking with all of the black accents black would look better, but definitely I think silver is the better option. When I do this I am thinking of changing the rear lights to OEM red/white as well. Also, I bought the two silver wheels (rears) and I am planning on running a square setup of rears. Best tire size? I'm thinking 255/35. And for the already black rear wheels I have on the car, what is the best way of getting those back to the OEM silver? Thanks

your tires are black, no need to do wheels too.

(unless you're dmax with green tires)
