I mean better than taking it out on people IRL I suppose. Not like it really hurts us.

Back on topic, where the hell is my camera, says it was delivered Friday afternoon, the mail room at work does not have it, the up there guy said maybe its at the local FedEx place, I wanted to ask why the hell FedEx would sign for it as delivered??

Anyway I am just hoping someone at the front security desk or what not signed for it and I'll get it today.

Does FedEx have an image of the signature? Should be able to trace who signed for it.

Got a name, guy in the mail room didn't recognize it, will check with them later today. I already sent an inquiry to FedEx, normally I would just wait it out, but not with something that cost this much.

Done and done, just turned it on at my desk for a minute, it is a nice upgrade over the 5D Mark II, it is very similar to the 5D Mark IV just a step down here and there on the tech specs.

Looking forward to the wifi and bluetooth capabilities.

I have gone down a slippery slope, already upgraded my camera body, 35mm lens, and flash, now I am looking at zoom lenses which I do not in any way need.

people should stop recommending the 50mm lens for a crop body
or at least recommend buying one used since they are so abundantly available in the second hand market

i listened to the same advice and bought the nifty fifty as my first lens purchase with my canon t2i
then i quickly realized it's very difficult to use in an indoor setting where there is not enough room to back up to capture what i see in front of me

buying the 28mm f1.8 opened up a whole new world
get a 28 or 35mm if you're using a crop body

Nifty fifty is a good lens on a crop. People recommend it because it's a solid first upgrade from the kit lens and 80mm, which is the 50mm crop equivalent, is a great focal length for portraiture.

If you're shooting with primes, you'll need a collection of them. They're fast and sharp, but the trade off is convenience.

Because the 50mm is $100 new and WAY better than any other lens in that price point. Most people don't know or care about quality, they care about cost and think it's nuts to drop even $800 on a new lens let alone thousands.

What do you mean by different settings? Crop vs full frame? That's not settings, that's physical sensor size.
