+2 ...Keep in mind folks this guy likely didn't even get his last paycheck or severance and he is currently un-employed STILL helping out his previous employees.

MAD PROPS TO YOU GOOD SIR!

Yeah, I was looking forward to that hood too. Having the GTR look with an option to keep your engine bay dry was a great selling point for me. Hopefully someone may still build it and offer it for sale.

My buddy locally just picked up a 335 and needs an IC kit, wonder if Chris can hook it up with a cash discount... Or store credit, either or!

This is one way a lot of people go down the drain in this trade. Doing this and as soon as they start pouring money into their own/shop cars. They are all on the back foot when they do this.

But other than that if employee's are stealing big amounts of money you can never recover it can send you to the wall real quick. The problem is you can never trust anyone else with your business. You need to spend time looking after it yourself and knowing what goes on.

And remember it doesn't matter how big a company is it can go broke. The good old saying of the bigger they are the harder they fall. All you US guys should know this really well. Some of the biggest public US based companies in the world have gone broke. Over the years. Far out GM was going that way and it took the government to bail them out. Size makes no difference.

Mert..... I have warned you several times in this thread to knock it off, not sure what you don't understand about it. I am going to clean up everyone's posts. I will start handing out infractions, maybe then you will understand. This thread is not about YOU, Mert.

Wow, crazy to see this thread, but I am not the least bit surprised... Chris had a great staff, but he himself was an ego maniac and a terrible businessman. My dealing with him were very public and most took his side stating I was crazy (Obviously I'm not the only one who's manifold blew from meth despite being accused of running nitrous), however it looks as though I was just the first to have many of the issues many had after me. It's sad to see and I wish my story would have helped prevent others from ending up in this horrible position, but I wish all the customers involved the best and his amazing employees the best in finding new homes. As for Chris, he got some of what he deserved, but if Karma exists he's still got plenty coming to him...

LOL next time don't post up a video of your car on nitrous! Then pull it down, thank good it was captured first. Terrible business man who started a $5,000,000.00 per year company out of his garage? Derek one of the original HPF owners who after 140,000 miles has his intake intact!
