Car pulls to right unless accelerating.

Hey everyone,

Having this odd problem with my e46 M3 vert...Recently (last 2 weeks), I've been noticing that the car pulls slightly to the right, so as a result to keep the car straight the steering wheel has to be oriented about 5 degrees left. The odd thing is that, if I'm driving straight (with the steering wheel 5 degrees left) and I accelerate, the car pulls left (as it should given the steering position). Then when I let off the throttle it is straight again (with the skewed steering position).
Not sure if I'm just being paranoid or if this is something I should be worried about.

Any feedback much appreciated. Thanks.

HooBoy, time to look at your rear suspension-

there are a few bushings back there that have been known to tear out.

If nothing is visually obviously failed, find a pry bar and see if the bushings themselves have deteriorated.

I WOULD worry about this, as there are a few documented failures that could be dangerous. Best to rule them out.

sorry,
t

Check LCAB first, then LCA ball joints.

Ok, how exactly would I go about checking LCAB? (assuming for rear LCAB = LTAB). Does the car need to be on a jack or can I just peek my head under?
