BFG R1s

I have a set of BFG R1 sitting in my basement just begging me to get them mounted before my next track day. Is it even possible to fit a 265/35/18 on a 1999 323i non-sports package without modding the fenders? If so, any ideas in wheel back spacing. The wheel needs to be between 9" and 10" wide.

Thanks

Ive been told by one of the leading experts on e46fan. that Rcomp tires run wider than street tires, so your 265 is more like a 275 or 285 tire. It will be tough to do, plus big heavy rcomps will make your car feel slow.
