Thanks for the ISA port cap model. I don't have a 3D printer but I'm sure I can find one to use temporarily.

I imagine you're running a turbo? If so wouldn't you want the BOV before the MAF, or is your setup different?

The best setup is a plumb-back after the MAF.

I tried this mod earlier and resulted in a non starting engine.
I think I cocked up by not resetting idlespeed (fluid?) adaptations.

I take it I'm ok just bunging off both connectors and unplugging the ISA?

You need to correct checksum4 in order to make the DME happy.

When you say correct checksum4, what do you correct it to?
I corrected to the tune which has the ISA valve. Said 2 checksum errors were found, didn't mention chk5 or chk4

Checksum 4 is an addition checksum that the dme uses to verify that the _mon_ values in the calibration file are not corrupt.
The variables that the dme uses to calculate this checksum is located in the program section so tools like Ultimo Checksum Corrector can only correct this checksum in a 512KB file.

If you are using 430056 you can disable this checksum by setting lc_swi_cal_mon_cks to 165(0xA5).

In order to disable that, do we need winols? Or can it be done in tunerpro?

It can be done in Tunerpro. lc_swi_cal_mon_cks is located in the ConfigSwitches category. But from what I have seen it's only correctly defined in the 430056 xdf.

There are many differencies even in the tune section where there is no damos or xdf either, so even more time consuming.

Fact is, that engine runs rock solid even with auto gearbox, so its basically just a matter of finding the right maps and constants and try to replicate them.
"Unfortunally" our babygirl will get all my love and spare time, so it is not an easy task.
I havenŽt found a way to share just the needed strings of code, so that others could help identify changes needed and further improve the ISAoff files. IŽll try to find a solution.
Land Rover Freelander L314, with the Rover KV6 engine, for anyone who is wondering.

Is it a problem on stock MS42 M52b25tu with M54B30 intake, ISAless with the cap? Could the old ISA be wired. Must ms42 be flashed for this?

I have two 02 BMW 530is; one automatic, one manual. Both are stock. Would you still like a test candidate?

Thanks for all your hard work!

Shure, remove and block the isa airpath and use the latest settings in the wiki.

Cool; I have a little bit of maintenance to get to first, but I'll report back when I can.

massive problems with ISALess Config

Hello together,

i have massive problems with the ISALess Configuration.

I adapted all Tables and Configswitches like the Wiki shows.
But my Car won't start. I corrected Checksum with Ultimo Checksum Corrector.

I get "Motornotprogramm" and Error shwon in the Picture. Sometimes there is another Error too, sayin something from ECU Error...

I run FI Environment. Before switching to Isaless my Car run quite smooth for about 5 Minutes then i get ISA Harware Error and so on, so i decided to go to ISALess.

My bin is also attached. Maybe someone can help me...

Thank YOU!!!

Have you seen in the posts above about checksum4?

Also probably a daft question but do we completely remove the ISA and unplug it?
