Heater/AC blower

Is there a way to keep the heater/AC blower from turning on automatically when starting the vehicle? I might have overlooked it, but I couldn't find anything of help in the manual. 2000 323i.
Thanks.

Heater/AC blower

I manually turn it off after I start the engine, but my question is if there's a way to keep it from coming on automatically when switching on the ignition.
