Looks awesome! I want to do M-Tech rear, but definitely don't want to foot a bill anywhere in that area as a student. Looks fantastic though, congrats!

Stahlgraue46, ECS Tuning. Very satisfied with their aftermarket bumpers, just a pain to get all the additional parts together to make it all correct.

I wore my BMW dealer parts manager out ordering all the plastic rivets and brackets as I assembled my project.

I bought the ZHP side skirts from one of the members here.
Thanks for the reply. Would it be possible for you to include a list of all the parts you used for the install? I'm planning on installing an Mtech II front bumper on my car, so far I've got the pre-facelift brackets and left, right, and center air ducts. Looks like I still need to get an alternator duct and some of the plastic rivets you mentioned, got a part number for the rivets?

Did you buy the gasket that runs along the inside of the upper bumper lip? If so, how far did it go along the bumper?

No, for my 2002 Sedan, I left mine on, it holds the center of the rear bumper up against the body.

Hello. I am trying to install a 330i rear bumper on my facelift 325i... I don't know how closely I should follow this guide since you're installing an M bumper... anyways... your "rear fender supports" part numbers don't show any results in ECS tuning or anywhere else... are you sure it's the right number. I got the brackets but I don't know what else I should get...

Try these numbers:
Rear fender supports, left/right (51128195321, 51128195322)
Rear bumper brackets left/right (51127000347, 51127000348)

Do you remember if you actually used the brackets (51127000347, 51127000348)?

I have them but I could never figure out where they go exactly on the rear bumper.

Excellent work, btw!

Yes sir. Those go in the upper front edges of the rear bumper where it meets the body at the wheel well. They bolt to the body (you will see the studs on the back side of the fender well) and the clip holds the bumper edge in place.

They mount in this orientation.

Overboost, thanks for he quick response to swordsman's question. This is a timely exchange as I'm in the process of installing an m-tech 2 rear bumper onto my facelifted coupé and there's a real lack of diy info for exactly where/how these brackets and supports are to be mounted.
