Turbo project for a budget

What size is it? I never had issues with a gtx3076r china clone, but just got a 6262, yet to try it though.
Want my old turbo? I can sell for cheap, needs external wastegate though.

Pistons will get shaved a little maybe , MLS HG
Deck block and head
Port head
M50 manifold
600 whp on stock internals till it blows or not , if it doesnt blow on 600 whp while im daily ripping it imma go higher untill it does and then ill get pistons and rods.

Oil rings on your pistons: Use M52TU, old style three-piece. (avoid M54 oil burning)

Head gasket: I hear these days is to go for the cut-ring style when running boost.

I think any Time-serts - I have 11mm and S54 head bolts I was thinking of using. (not sure if I will go there yet)

Looking forward to your Destructive Test results.

Turbo project for a budget

My stock motor was fine and I ran up to 19psi so it's going to take a lot to blow

Try rotella t6 to reduce oil burning

If I get e85 i need bigger injectors , Ive got walbro 450lph fuel pump
I just cant find injectors that would work with stock ecu with no problem
like it has to 14.9 ohms saturated , otherwise I gotta do resistor box and get peak and hold injectors

Anyone can throw a suggestion for piston rings for OEM pistons so it stops oil burning? I know that m52tu are the answer , but question is , if all the rings fit the piston?

No, only the oil rings.

So I only have to get oil rings from m52tu and the other 2 rings can be stock?
Can you please throw a link for it.

from what I gathered in my procuring of information, yeah. M52TU rings will fix the oil burn issue prevalent in e46s.

Nah I meant i need the link where I could either buy m52tu oil rings separately or just a link , cuz I dont feel like getting the whole set for m52tu and m54 that will be 250 bucks.

Oh, you should have said that, LOL! I have these sitting in my cart on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/OIL-RING-SET...5YJPuy&vxp=mtr

I already messaged the seller, they confirmed it is the normal style 3piece oil ring set from M52, not the 2 piece from the M54. They can put other pieces from the M54 together with the M52 oil rings if you want to do that. Just contact them through eBay.

If you're looking for pistons, just contact Ross... They have an assortment of BMW pistons for not a whole bunch of money. As it stands, the M50-series engines are not as high compression as the numbers say. The B25 is actually around 9.6:1-ish where as it's advertised as 10.5:1.

So updates again
1) Started pulling that engine in the backyard , got to the point where its just a long block. Couldnt take the head off because I had no e12 socket, it already came 12 bucks on amazon))
2) Ordered ARP studs 225$
3) Cometic Head Gasket from vac motorsports for around 250 with the shipping , came in 2 days , gasket thickness is 0.098
4) Ordered those m52tu oil rings ( gotta order regular m54 set I guess too )
5) Supertech valve stem seals , never tried them before seems to be legit. Intake side is made of polyacrilic and exhaust side is viton which is oil resistant rubber ) Cost about 32 bucks on good ol ebay
Updates on the car
So everytime I drive I sort of lose 4 quarts of oil a day ( ab out 100 miles ) So far I know that CHINESIUM turbo took a crap for sure , Valve cover leaking too I think , Oil pan dipstick - I lost the oil ring for it somehow , I placed one in there and I cant tell if it stopped pissing out oil or not. 2 Other reasons why my car hates oil is definitely piston rings and probably valve stem seals are crapped out too ( because the car was sitting for 7 years in florida sun)
Good news is that I think my car is in autolearn mode or somesort , because I still havent finished the tune ( lazy me ) and it seems like its driving better the more I drive .
