Dynamatted the bottom seat panel in the rear. It was a crumbled mess after the fuel pump replacement. When covering the access panels noticed at some point a mouse had taken up residence in the left side sender unit area and started chewing up the wiring. Taped that up and need to monitor it.

Not that I can tell...... but I'm 1/2 deaf (our Mom's were right about loud R&R) . Only did small area under the seat bottom, that was trashed.
Plan is to do the trunk and fendor wells & see how it works out.

They are the little clips near the rear view mirror that the sun visors snap into to hold them in place.

Did the shocks and struts with new strut mounts. Also changed a leaky a1 cardone axle with gkn. Never cheap out on axles even if they offer a lifetime warranty.

Trying to get some feedback: how many people would be interested in a kit cheaper than the vince kit, stronger, and required minimal to no welding? There may or may not be some RD going into this.

Today I hit a bump so hard in the triple digits that my fender lining ripped on compression and I lost my temp sensor. Car defaulted to -40 and therefore felt the AC no longer had to be strong on a 103 degree day. Went to the nearest junk yard and wired another one in. They up charged me understanding how badly I needed it...

Fixed my fuel door actuator. Thought it was broken...turns out it just wasn’t in the hole right.

That’s what she said????

Just this week.

Got tired of water pump leaking, replaced that with 2 pulleys
Arm rest replaced, hinge broke.
Took seats out and steam cleaned carpet.
Replaced all cooling components on friends 325i and lilypop bushings.

Still getting ready to replace coolant temperature sensor. Why did bmw hide it in the back of the block under intake manifold. I just don't want to take manifold off.

There's a video out there showing a guy doing that temp sensor without taking everything out. But he's doing it blind. Now I can't find it. I have one I'm waiting to put in the next time I take the intake off. But if I ever find that video again I may attempt it.
There's a second one up against the passenger side fendor that's easy to get to.

I know where it is and I can barely get to it with my hands, just need to get a socket that will fit there.

Replaced the valve cover gaskets to remedy a small leak. Car has 220,000. I've had it for 100,000 of those.
Rubber bolt grommets were nice and plyable, but gaskets were crispy. Had an Oh #*&t moment when I thought I stripped a center bolt, but jfoj talked me off the ledge.
Took longer to clean up the engine compartment than to change the gaskets, thanks to my Milwaukee electric impact and ratchet.
