Fixed my front end clunk - XIT
Copart BMW, had to fix a lot of engine vacuum leaks and finally got those done. Replaced the front control arm bushings last week and still had a clunk. The sway bar end links were a little notchy, but overall didn't feel loose. I still bought 2 new meyle hd ones from FCPEURO and put them on last night. Clunk is completely gone. I would have sworn it was more under the engine than on each wheel, but after taking the old ones off, it was clear the ball and socket on the bottom part was worn. Now, no more clunk, just smooth and tight. Took all of about 10 minutes per side to replace and that included jacking the car up and taking the tire off. I couldn't tell they were bad until taking them off and playing with the ends to see how loose they really were.
Now I just need to investigate the P1446 coming from the pump at the rear of the vehicle. I hope its a rotted line or something or bad electrical connection.

I'm pulling a 1447. Hopefully I can track mine down back there too. Been too lazy to get at it.
