Yes it will stink to high heaven with noxious fumes. The catalytic converters convert the fumes to less harmful bits. You remove those and the exhaust is awful in traffic or for anyone behind you...

The 245/35r18 will fit fine, but I really like a 235/40r18 on these cars. Slightly taller than OE but fills the wheel well nicely and provides some cushion. I have 245/40r18 on my winter setup now...

Did the locator pins on the strut tube drop all the way down into the knuckle? I had this issue on one car and had to use a dead blow hammer to set up a vibration and get the strut to fully seat.

I've had the same issue with 2 of the 3 Px5 units I've owned. One works perfectly fine. If they fixed this with the PX6, then it'll be worth the upgrade to me. **** is maddening.
