Cant open doors after electrical fire

I had a dash fire in my 2004 325i acouple months ago. I have since swapped the engine out into another car (2001 325i) and it is running great.

Anyway, the 2004 fire car has a working sunroof...

After I read Megalocnus questions I went back and took a look at how the 01 is wired at the DME plug and how the 04 is wired at the DME plug---they ain't the same...

Ive used Maalox to Coat the threads--let dry then screw on the nuts. Seemed to make it easier to remove the nuts later. Should have left one uncoated as a control to see if it really did help though
