Check both air Intake hoses, vacuum lines along the back of the intake and the little plugs. Could also be the Valve cover gasket, DISA gasket as well. How did you perform the smoke test?

I had a similar issue with my Koni's, no matter what spring I used. I couldn't get them in. So I took the easy route and installed the old ones and drove over to the shop to install the new ones.

I would add another wheel to your list of parts, get one off the donor car. The wheel with the failed tire stem valve is due to a crack in the wheel in that area. It is not safe to drive on in IMO....
