This is not as easy with the GM trans, for whatever reason - 50's kid has a ZF, there's a different amount of clearance in there so it's much harder to get a breaker bar to fit right :banghead: -

When going from N to D, and re-engaging the trans, there always seems like a much larger shock to the system (at highway speed) if I don't bring the revs up a little bit.

They're doing the recall fast, 30 minutes. Which means I don't get my fancy loaner + they wanted me to have full coverage (previous dealers didn't care)...
