I'm curious what the units are in your tests...

3M's Spray 90 is good for this sort of thing- Bali, I have sprayed it into a cap and used it as a 'liquid tack', as you describe.
It's pretty thin in liquid...

When I took our car apart, the new Luk flywheel rotated about 3 teeth.
The 170k flywheel rotated- about 3 teeth.

They felt so similar that I will reuse the used one - but NOT on an xi!

degrees- I forget, but it was quite a bit.
