I had an indie tell me vibrations and noises on deceleration tend to be from the dif bearings. Can't swear to it. The guy is pretty knowledgeable, his shop parking lot is always full.

This is a waste of money, the extra insulation can cause more problems than it's supposed to prevent. If the moisture in the system freezes the insulation keeps it frozen longer.

My e36 has the opposite problem, will recline but won't return, some say it's a gear but I cant hear the motor run so I'm thinking switch. Need to take it apart to be sure.

I hope you have E-torx sockets and lots od extensions because you will need them for the bolts that hold the trans to the engine. The top ones can be a bitch, two of them hold the starter in place.

I'm sure there are more no starts that were flooded than people are willing to admit. My first one was in -20*F weather. Wife went to work and after a few hours had to get something out of the car...
