Glad I was able to help man, you should feel a better pull after the Vanos rebuild, it will get better after you break it in (maybe 300-400 miles)

Sounds like you have a ground problem, you will have to check your voltage 12v engine off 13.8-14v engine on, and also check the nut where you plug in the jumper cables in the engine area make sure the red or + side is tight, let me know what you find.

hi sorry to bother you but im in need of some desperate help and I saw that you know what you're talking about. i would really appreciate you're help. my names alex and i have a 2001 bmw 330ci automatic. 2 months ago I had the alternator replaced since the power steering hose leaked fluid all over it and causing it to short. so a week or two after installation I noticed that my radio buttons on my steering wheel were going out. I checked the fuses and they all seemed fine. Next the passenger side view mirror didnt go down when car was put in reverse or when i tried to do it manually. I didn't have any money to fix or get it checked so i just kept driving the car as is. 3 weeks ago I noticed that now my turn signals turned on or off when they liked. The lights did flash on the outside but on the dash they would go on and off. Last week the buttons on my key wouldn't unlock or lock my key so i had to do it manually. Today when I got home my car turned off when I came to a full stop my dash started to flash and then it would turn off, when I tried turning it on the dash would flash again and turn off and the car wouldn't start at all. So after waiting a few minutes my car turned on but now my windows won't go up or down and my windshield wipers wont turn on. My lights from the inside wont turn off once car is locked so I have to turn those off manually as well. I don't know what it could be so I would really appreciate it if someone could help. I cant drive it since its raining really hard and its night time. Thank you.
