AC Schnitzer Aluminium Hand Brake

Tools Needed:
3/32" allen key/wrench
1- zip tie
Estimated time: 15 mins
|
|
1. Gather tools together. Note: zip tie is NOT included with the handbrake |
|
|
2. Grab the sides on the upper portion of the boot and pull back to loosen the boot from the center console. |
|
|
3. Pull boot back over top of the OEM handbrake handle. |
|
|
4. Using the side cutters, cut the original zip tie and remove the boot. |
|
|
5. There are 2 options to remove the OEM handle:
1. Grip the handle firmly and twist until the handle becomes loose enought to slide off.
2. Cut lenthwise along the handle and "peel" the handle off the handbrake. |

|
6. Slide the new handle onto the handbrake shaft. Adjust the logo postion to your liking. Then tighten the 3 screws using the 3/32" allen key/wrench. |

|
7. Slide the boot over the new handle inside out. Position the end of the boot just slightly covering the ridge at the base of the handle. fasten the boot using the new zip tie and cut off the excess. |

8. Pull the boot over the new handle towards the center console. To reinstall the boot back into the console. Insert the tab on bottom edge of the boot frame into the bottom of the handbrake opening. Snap the top portion in and...................
