328i owners, question about a vacuum hose (PHOTOS)

I have a vacuum hose by the fuel filter that connects to the fuel pressure regulator and goes up to the top of the engine. I don't know where to connect this hose. This Vacuum hose is disconnected somewhere around the manifold?

I know that on 330i this hose is connected to the "F" pipe by the air intake tube, but 328i DOES NOT HAVE a "F" pipe on the intake tube.

Its #8 on the diagram, circled in red.

take a picture of the hose you're trying to connect. i think it goes through a grommet in the "drug bin" box and connects to the same line as the brake booster.
if i'm thinking of the same line*

hose connection

I just Replaced that hose/tube on my 03 330I. It runs from the fuel filter to the "F" connector on the intake hose as pictured.
