Hamburg Technic Reviews Please

Hi all,

I need rear window regulator and crankcase vent valve (oil separator) for my 99`
E46 323i sedan.

As I see Hamburg Technic is a German brand, and the seller on Ebay has very very high rating with sales from this brand.

However, the Google searches made me very confused, after seeing all negative comments about Hamburg Technic.

What do you think about this brand?

Are there any of you tried any part like oil separator or window regulator?

One more question: Is 11617501566 right part number for the vent valve (oil sep) for my 99 e46 323i sedan (UK Version)?

Thanks to all,

Cheers.

I've never tried their stuff, but the general consensus seems to be that they're mediocre at best. Apparently their quality is even worse than Meyle, and I wouldn't put any Meyle crap on my car. Generally in the world of BMW parts, you get what you pay for.

I heard bad things about them, stay away. For the oil separator and window regulators get OEM only.

First, check RealOEM.com for the correct part number secondly I would look at Partsgeeks.com for the window regulator. I have replaced three of four using their regulators. Just my two and a half cents worth...

Thank you for the suggestions. So, I will not buy Hamburg Technic after your suggestions.

Is VAICO an OEM brand for Vent Valve? If so I will buy. Cheers.
