Loving Apple looks like a religion to an MRI scan

Quote:
"The Bishop of Buckingham -- who reads his Bible on an iPad -- explained to me the similarities between Apple and a religion. And when a team of neuroscientists with an MRI scanner took a look inside the brain of an Apple fanatic it seemed the bishop was on to something. The results suggested that Apple was actually stimulating the same parts of the brain as religious imagery does in people of faith."

Makes sense I guess, not just in regards to Apple but to so many other things, still funny

Do it to a hardcore sports fan and the MRI will tell you they're the second coming of Christ.

If you scan a PC owners brain, the active part will match that of a serial killers, or a masochist.

I think those findings would be similar to any person with a fanatical devotion to something. Be it Apple, Android, BMW, Birdman, etc.

Yeah, the article even says so, but by making it about Apple it grabs more attention

All the time. I can sometime be found wondering endlessly in the software aisle of your local store comparing anti-virus programs to appear relevant.
