Oil viscosity after 100k km?

Hi guys, I have hit 100.000 km and now it's time to change the oil. What viscosity is the best 5w30, 10w40, 10w30 or...?

Also I am planning to put Castrol Magnatec! Is this any good for my 320d?

Thanks in advance.

Hold on do you mean you are only now changing the oil after driing 100,000 km straight?!

I think it is time for a new engine buddy.

your oil viscosity after 100,000 km of straight driving-with-no-oil-change must look like this.

ewwwww.

I don't think the gas in the tank at the back of the car has anything to do with the oil in the engine block at the front of the car.

D cars are the same as Fuel Injected cars.

no, no, surely I have changed oil before, I like to go with the rule to change oil once a year of right before reaching 10.000 km. whichever comes first.
Last time I put OMV BIXXOL oil, it's very good, but I'd like to know what you all think of Castrol Magnatec?

And I've searched for oil that should be used after 100.000 km but no results!

At 100k miles, you should add in some cod liver oil - something to do with the omega stuff being good for old bones.

That is because you are searching in Kilometers. Try searching in Miles.

100,000 kilometers is around 62,140 miles.

Your car is hardly high mileage at all mate. Get the regular stuff.

100,000 km is what, 62,000 miles?

Use the standard oil, there is no reason to change oil weight at this point. Your selection of 5w30 or 10w40, or whatever, has more to do with climatic conditions than the miles on your car.
