Limited Slip Differential On 2003 325i

Hello Fellow BMW Enthusiasts,

I have a 2003 325i (not iX), does anyone know how I can tell if I have a limited slip differential? I want to change my differential fluid and there are two Redline options: one with and one without limited slip differential.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yes, you can. You can put a quaiffe in the back and leave the front open in an xi.

You can find an M3 Diff and swap it in?

Not in an xi, the front and rear diff ratios would no longer be properly matched. The M3 diff can be swapped into a non-xi but you have to swap a lot more than just the diff itself. There are also numerous aftermarket LSD options that will bolt right up.
