AP Headers vs. JVT Ebay Headers
Does anyone know if the Agency power headers are any better than the JVT headers or other ebay headers?

AP headers look good, but dont let people fool you into thinking ebay ones are bad
i have ebay ones on mine, fitment was good, my installer TKX (many nyc guys will know him) did not complain. have had them for over 10k miles with no problems. best $120 i've spent

thanks for the advice guys. The reason I ask is because I noticed that DA Automotive is offering a few specials this month. They are offering their race software for half price. They also have a deal for AP headers and race software for $899....so I am just debating wether to go for this combo deal, or save about $300 and just get JVT headers with the discounted software....

I just put on the ebay headers and everything fit great. I'm now deciding on what to do about the cats.

very nice. what ebay vendor did u buy from? did u install the headers yourself? I was planning to go catless when I install the headers, I hear that is the best way to go depending on the state emission laws of course.

The install was easy but was time consuming due to the tight working space. I have the rasp-x mid pipe from UUC and it fit fine. No cats. I have the Dinan exhaust. I'm real happy with the sound but I wish I had polished tips instead of the blacked out ones. You can feel the difference without the cats

Custom Performance is comming out with a CRT (cat'ed rasp terminator) AKA high flow cat that kills rasp. If you already have the RT you can send it in to them to have them weld on the cats. This is for section 1. After you get this you can get catless headers with the performance and still pass emissions.

Do AP headers throw any codes? I'm hesitant to get Jvt headers if I'm going to have a SES or EML light...
If it doesn't throw any codes I would go with AP then.

All headers will throw lights unless you install cats in the section 1 or use "race" software that turns off the rear O2 sensors.

Ebay catless headers do not throw an engine light- I have ebay headers with stock section one and two funneled through a Borla catback, shark injector with sport mode memory, all four o2's connected with a CAI. The car sounds great, a bit raspy but who cares when your taking names. The cars pulls insanely harder and and breaks plenty of necks.

Yes they do. the reason you don't have an engine light is you're running software that deletes the light.

Ebay headers are no different than anything else. My friend has them on his car with an AA charger and it hasnt given him any problems whatsoever
