'04 325iT sport SMG 26k miles (Oregon)

2004 BMW E46 325iT Wagon in Electric Red with Natural Brown leather. 6-speed SMG with wheel-mounted shift paddles, sport package, heated power front seats with pwr lumbar, onboard computer, bi-xenon headlights, H-K audio, mats. I've added BMW OE alarm & Homelink transmitter, OE maple wood trim, M aerodynamic pkg (aka M Tech II), M sport steering wheel, 17" BBS RC wheels and Pilot Sport A/S tires in 225/45ZR-17.

I'm the orginial owner and have clear title. Includes all manuals, keys, original window sticker, etc.

This Touring is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained, with service (using BMW synthetic oil) at 3.4k, 9k, 15.9k and 24.3k miles. The SMG clutch was replaced at 23k under warranty.

$21,900 for one of the sportiest Tourings around.

Wow...this is really an amazing car. I didn't even know they made the Touring in SMG!! Do you know how many they brought to the US, or made period? Your color option is also amazing...and rare. The M-tech package is sweet as well...did you do that yourself? Do you have any after market performance goodies on there?

The SMG was offered on 325 models in 2004 only. I've always wondered how many they sold but don't have a clue. Best guess would be "not too many".

I bought the M tech II though the parts counter at my local dealer (DeLon) and then had DeLon's body shop paint and install it.

Nope -- nothing performance enhancing, except for the tire upgrade.

Thanks for the comments!

Thanks, guys. I love this car, too.

Mostly I drive my '05 M3 () but I've driven the '08 X3 that replaced this quite a bit in the past few months. The X3 has got most of the bells and whistles -- premium, sport, heated seats front and rear, etc. -- and it definitely drives like a BMW. But I gotta say, this 325iT is much more fun to drive. I guess the SMG has a lot to do with that, but I can get out of my 333 hp M3 or my 260 hp X3 into the 184 hp touring and I don't feel at all like I'm horsepower-deprived.

Maybe all those people really need those SUVs, but I always though the E46 wagon was the perfect family truckster for up to, say, two kids. Now that I'm driving the roomier X3, I'm wondering what I was thinking...

I'm pretty sure this would sell in 30 seconds if I find the right buyer -- and I've had a couple of people who seemed pretty interested. I know the price is a bit high, but with the low miles and the fantastic condtion, etc., I figure it's a fair price. What should this car sell for?

Very nice car indeed. IMHO, the price is right for the right buyer and the private party market. Have you tried advertising it on BMW CCA? If you took out an ad on Roundel, I'm pretty confident someone will snatch this up. It just seems too often that these boards and internet shoppers in general are looking for a "steal" these days. You were 2 months too late or I would be driving yours.
