Question how long does it take for skin to absorb topical medications/lotions?

im kind of a compulsive facewasher, and i was wondering how long it would take my skin to absorb something like:
acne medication
moisturizer
antiperspirant (no i dont apply it to my face )

sometimes ill want to wash my face but i feel like im wasting whatever topical application i put on my face a couple of hours before

I think like 2-3 hours. It might take a couple weeks for results to show. What do I know though, I'm just repeating what it says on the back of my cream.

trasndermal absorption can take anywhere from 12-24 hours.

Compare that to absorption by the mucous membranes (2-3 min)

intravenous (2-3 min)

transdermal is bascially the slowest way for the body to take in drugs. So if you want to deliver something in small doses over a long period of time, it would be good. If you need a fast effect, then it isn't.

you won't see results right away and it all depends on how damaged your skin is. just be patient and keep at it and you'll have nice healthy acne free skin

oh and if you wash your face too often itll dry out so be careful!
