Sounds like you want two things. The strobe lights and wig wags which alternately flash your left then right headlight. TVonNav was working on an 'iLights' module that would allow someone to program their lights to do different things. There also was a German company that had a similar module, however I have long since lost their contact info.

Check out Code 3 products and Whelen products. as mentioned above, you're looking for a wig-wag circuit and strobe light bulbs with a controller. These can be added to any light by drilling into the housing and adding the additional bulb. Most stereo shops will be able to do the install. Search for "Hide a way strobe"

Check out Galls (www.galls.com). We did a lot of police/fire trucks and we got all the stuff from them.

DO NOT go to a body shop or mechanic. I wouldn't trust them messing with the car's electrical system. Your best bet is a car stereo shop, or you could ask your local police office or firehouse who does their installs.

I did the installation with the help of DIMEVIVO>. it was a b1tch to run the cables from the rear tailights to the front of the car.. you'll have to remove the rear seats and side floor panel to run cables and feed cables to engine by removing the glove box.. but it looks good as h3ll

bluecougar - could you also post some pictures (maybe even a video) along with the brand and price of your strobes?
