OEM Reverse Camera Retrofit Kit

Anyone done this? I'm thinking you need nav to get this to work. i haven't found many details at all on it, just know the cost, 416 bucks.

Someone did this just recently!! I dont remember who it was tho...damnit. It was a 2004 330, I DO remember that. I'll see if I cant find it.

My Ride: 03' 330ci (SOLD)
Hey I'm doing this Mod right after I get my car back from the clutch grenade incident this weekend. I already have some of the components. 1. Fereinheit CC-2 3.5" (lipstick)color camera that will be wired into a Power Acoustik Tuner-5R, still deciding on an LCD, any opinions are welcome, I don't mean to hijack this thread either.... sorry.


BTW: I'm doing the trunk keyhole mod.

You need the TV feature which is not available on North American cars.

I'm told you can buy OEM compenents for the TV but I'm not sure if you need a dealer to activate something.

interesting, its an accessory for a u.s. spec car, or so i thought. oh well. i found something else interesting, an antenna signal amplifier kit for our cars, ill post that in a new thread though.

So where does this OEM back up camera actually gets mounted on? Any pics? So it won't work w/aftermarket flip out decks w/AUX?

or could it be mount on the keyhole on the boot compartment?
