hey everybody...im bout to get an exhaust to my m3...i hate going around wit that oem exhaust, so im looking for something louder and aggressive sound..i found out on ebay it TOP SPEED RACE EXHAUST! should i get that exhaust?or something other exhaust...i knw there many exhaust but hard to pick lol...so u guys give me which one should i get...again im not looking expensive one looking around $0-1000 and loud exhaust!
I believe user MarqE46 (?) has the Top Speed Race exhaust on his car along with some RPI scoops, intake, etc. Look up some clips on Youtube; it actually sounds really good for the price they are offering...I believe from Top Speed's website, the exhaust runs around <$500.
Agency Power..section 1, 2, & 3.
R.E. El Diablo...section 1, 2, & 3.
Super Sprint...section 1, 2, & 3.
My top choices before i went with DINAN. I did a lot of research on them. Performance and sound is all there. They all sound very similar to eachother, very aggressive (LOUD Euro-engine built RUMBLE, if you know what I mean!). In Performance wise, very close as well, pretty much neck to neck. These systems are lookin at 2K to 2.5K for the full raced out system...rasp pipe..mid pipe..and exhaust.
try finding a used SS race muffler for sale i have that on my car and it was pretty nice and i liked the way it sounded (i also removed the resonator in my midsection 2 i believe). apart from that go with cat-less headers man and youll have a nice gain as well but it might be a little out of your budget.
hey i have a top speed race exhaust. I just put the muffler on my stock car and it idles at 92 decibles. so yeah its loud, want to get headers to give it that rumble. love how you hear gun shot pops when you downshift aka backfire. lol if you want loud then go for it.
Cheating, that car has headers too. Not sure if this guy wants to deal with that in CA.
OP: I've run a Supersprint Race muffler on my car for years, and wouldn't have it any other way (well, aside from headers which is a huge pain in the ass in CA).
Meistershaft Ti.... hands down the best sounding exhaust. I had many other types but always traded them out because the sound wasnt right. If you add headers, its game over. Diablo is my second fav....
He said under $1000...which you can find a lightly used AP or RE for that...Meisterschaft? Not so much. Unless you want a beat up one, still over a grand.
thanks for the information guys...but still didnt decided yet which should i get!..lol but soon i will! btw i got one more question..... person who own the topspeed exhaust..does it drone a lot in inside?and it is easily to hear wat ppl saying while i drive? lol
i use to have a remus sport exhaust which I have for sale if anyone is interested it only has 4k miles on it and I have 2 extra tips that are mint (one on the exhaust has a tiny ding in it) i got rid of it because when i put 2 AR20s on it really quieted it down but I wanted the rasp out which it did. I got a custom exhaust from and it sounds money it was around $450 and i chose my tips and it is a similar stainless two canister exhaust that you see on ebay for $400 but i got to listen to it etc
I get zero rasp.. some of the other systems i here get that nasty rasp on the top end but I know people like that.
listen here
I have only one word for you, REMUS. Check out the US Sound option. This is REMUS's loudest exhaust system for the E46 M3 with the new carbon fiber tips :4ngie: Don't sacrifice quality with other aftermarket exhaust systems. Check out the quality welds and craftsmanship involved in creating these exhaust systems. If you are looking for a quality system with an amazing sound, look no further.
Supersprint Race is the BEST sounding muffler!!! Match it up with some nice headers and you got one MEAN sounding M3. SS Race mufflers are very pricey, but made with very high quality craftsmanship. Hand made in Italy.
Check out our ESR M3 exhaust. Its on our website as well as in the vendor section here. I have it listed on sale right now for $550. Located in Downtown L.A as well, so you can pick up.
